Doula

Simone assists in the transition from birth to two months postpartum.
Her strengths are in identifying culturally relevant support and bringing in a community-based approach to health and birth. As a queer woman herself, she offers a safer space for queer, non-binary and trans pregnant people, and will act as an advocate by accompanying people to appointments.
Why Simone?
Simone is passionate about creating safer spaces for Indigenous, Black, and people of colour. Her practice is trauma-informed and she operates on a consent model. Simone is knowledgeable about queer, trans and non-binary families, and provides flexible, punctual, and compassionate service.
